LifeTrak Core C200 Review

LifeTrak C200 comes in two color options: black and white. This fitness tracker utilizes some different technologies than what we are used to. For example, it uses Dynamic Distance Calibration to correctly differentiate between different types of steps and it can recognize whether you are running or walking. Additionally, its heart rate monitor also participates in the tracker’s ability to correctly calculate how much calories your burned which is a great way of keeping data accurate.

Pros / What Customers Like:

  • If you wanted a fitness tracker which cares about the precision and accuracy of its data, this is the right one for you.
  • It’s definitely hard to find a high-quality and affordable tracker with a heart rate monitor but this tracker can offer you that.
  • It’s quite simple to use and the LCD display will always display the most important information about your activity.
  • Various technologies make sure you get the correct amount of steps you made during the day.

Cons / What Customers Don't Like:

  • Some customers have reported that readings are actually not correct, especially when it comes to steps.
  • It tends to break apart quickly after the warranty period passes.
  • The band is not so flexible and it won’t fit a lot of customers properly.

Verdict:

Purchasing this fitness tracker doesn’t feel like a commitment considering the fact that it’s quite cheap and it provides the user with the basic functionality along with a dedicated heart rate monitor and a useful LCD screen. The design is not so eye-catching but it can display your heart rate, the time, and steps you took. The only problem seems to be the fact that you can get incorrect readings on certain occasions.
