Fossil Q Motion Review

Even though Fossil is mostly known for their beautiful and affordable watches, they have also decided to take part in fitness tracker industry where they definitely left a mark. This fitness tracker looks sort of like Misfit Ray, a fitness tracker which is currently also owned by Fossil. Its functionality is quite basic, it can measure the number of steps you covered during the day, it measures the quality of your sleep, and it can calculate just how much calories you burned throughout the day. One of the downsides is the fact that you can’t really do much with it since it doesn’t possess a screen.

Pros / What Customers Like:

  • You can handle the notifications coming from your smartphone by pressing the button provided, which can automatically carry out certain functions you set as default.
  • It looks quite elegant with its LED lights and it will even work with Fossil’s companion app.
  • It’s quite accurate and it never fails to count everything correctly, according to customers.

Cons / What Customers Don't Like:

  • The band could really use a display as going without it sort of limits your functionality.
  • The price at hand feels somewhat high when you consider everything you get in return.

Verdict:

First of all, this is definitely not a bad fitness tracker when you consider the fact that it is very durable and elegant. It is entirely black with LED light flashing every time you receive a notification. However, we feel like Fossil could have put a bit more effort into making it a favorite among their fans and there is a lot of room for improvement. The battery life is great and it can last up to six months before needing replacement. It’s also a great choice for swimmers since it’s waterproof to 50m of depth. It would be a great choice for a lot of people if its price was lower.
