Polar Loop 2 Review

Polar Loop was the first fitness band in this series and it was very successful, earning a lot of attention from fitness activists from all around the world. The second installment, Polar Loop 2 looks very promising. The band tracks distance, steps, and calories and it encourages you to reach your goals. There is as heart rate monitor included and it will also measure the quality of your sleep. It features a cool, retro design with a LED display.

Pros / What Customers Like:

  • It features a personalized coaching style which will remind you to stay active and fulfill your daily goals.
  • The battery life is great for a gadget like this.
  • The band and the companion app motivate you effectively throughout your workout and provide advice, motivation, and feedback by means of statistics.
  • The design is very cool and it was improved when compared to the previous version.

Cons / What Customers Don't Like:

  • However, some customers have reported design flaws which threatened to undermine its otherwise great performance.
  • There is no heart rate monitor available and that sets it aside from other Polar bands, but it’s compatible with additional ones.
  • The display doesn’t show a lot of information at first.

Verdict:

This is actually a great fitness tracker with a lot of different, enjoyable functions. However, it seems like it is undermined by Polar itself since they didn’t include a lot of features they included in other bands. It can handle notifications from your mobile phone and it’s pretty basic. Not a lot of things have changed from the first Polar Loop and this is still a basic fitness tracker for beginners. It’s a good one, though.
