Pebble Time Review

Pebble Time is a smartwatch cum activity tracker. It not only measures distance and steps but also measures the amount of sleep and its quality. You can get all kinds of social media updates on this one and attach it to your device. If you want a bit of music then slide to the apps interface and access music, watch faces, alarms and more. It has various fitness apps like a run keeper, swim, pedometer, fit cat, misfit and more. The design is not very innovative and looks more like tiny computers on the wrist. The curve design of the watch helps it sit on the wrist comfortably.

Pros / What Customers Like:

  • The testers found the battery life of the gadget very impressive and lasting almost 7 days.
  • The timeline has been found to work quite well by the testers
  • The smartwatch is waterproof even at 30 meters and testers have used it conveniently for swimming

Cons / What Customers Don't Like:

  • The testers found the look of the watch to be cheap and toy-like
  • The animations on the watch are childish and the tester found them quite funny
  • The watch is compatible with limited devices like Android and iOS systems

Verdict:

The Pebble Time is a simple yet effective smartwatch and tracker. It is perfectly easy to use and the long battery life makes it effective and hassle-free. It has been observed that in spite of heavy usage the battery lasts 72 hours. The straps are of standard quality and quite easy to customize. The mute style makes the watch almost go unnoticed which may be all right for users unwilling to draw attention. The screen is turned on all the time which makes it easy to notice on the go. However, there happens to be no way of replying to any of the messages received by the user which is a bit of a snag.
