Pebble 2 + Heart Rate Review

It’s always great to stumble upon a great fitness tracker which won’t make you reach deep into your pocket in order to purchase it. Pebble 2 is a great cheap fitness tracker which offers a built-in heart rate monitor along with the features of measuring the sleep quality and the distance you covered during the day. The band allows you to receive your smartphone notifications and use the music. The battery life is great and it can last up to a week on a single charge. The display is always on and you can even use the microphone it comes with to respond to text messages.

Pros / What Customers Like:

  • The battery life is great and you won’t need to worry about it for a week, even though the display is always on.
  • It does a great job when it comes to handling smartphone notifications since you can view them at any time and even respond to text using the microphone.
  • The band is waterproof to 30 meters which makes it safe to swim and shower with it.
  • The price is great when you compare it to the competition and it’s a great casual fitness tracker for the price.

Cons / What Customers Don't Like:

  • The readings you receive are sometimes inconsistent, especially when it comes to heart rate monitoring.
  • The screen is small and it feels like space is not used well enough.

Verdict:

The Pebble 2 is a great low-end fitness tracker but it does a better job handling your notifications than it does measuring your fitness activities. However, it’s quite cheap and buying it is a great choice if you can cope with certain issues and if you want something to help you read your notifications on the go.
