Motorola Moto 360 Sport Review

This fitness tracker manufactured by Motorola is definitely a stylish option for runners around the world. It contains a cool LCD Touchscreen which is protected by Gorilla Glass 3. It can sync with your smartphone in order to send notification straight to your tracker. Unfortunately, it's only waterproof to 3 ft, meaning that you shouldn't wear it while you're swimming. A great feature which was implemented enables it to charge wirelessly on a dock which is included in the package. We really loved the fact that there the band utilizes a GPS tracker because it makes all information feel a lot more accurate and precise.

Pros / What Customers Like:

  • It can handle your smartphone notification and it gives you the option to view text messages and social media updates right there on the screen.
  • Including a GPS tracker is definitely a great touch because distance counting which relies solely on your arm movement can be quite inaccurate.
  • The design is quite stylish and it looks and feels like a smart watch.
  • There is a heart rate monitor included along with the basic functions such as step and calorie counting.

Cons / What Customers Don't Like:

  • Customers have reported that the battery life is awful and it can't even hold for four hours when GPS tracking is turned on.
  • The price is quite high and there are some devices offering better performance for a similar price.
  • Some customers have stated that the band stopped working after being exposed to heavy rain even though the manufacturer stated it's water resistant to 3ft.

Verdict:

Motorola Moto 360 Sport would be a great choice if its price were somewhat lower. However, since its price lies parallel with some professional, high-quality fitness trackers, it has to be evaluated as one. Quite honestly, there are many better options out on the market which will definitely last for a longer period of time. There is some issue with its software and it’s not as durable as you might expect. However, there are not a lot of fitness trackers which implement both a heart rate monitor and a GPS tracker and that is what makes it stand out from the competition.
