Misfit Shine 2 Review

This fitness tracker definitely looks different than its competitions and we think it's clear to see just how the design looks modern and contemporary. The battery is replaceable and it can last as much as six months. You will receive vibrations for each notification and there are even some buttons provided that can help you control your household devices. It can keep track of your steps, the distance you covered and the number of calories you burn. You can even remotely control the music and the camera app by pressing the screen. However, the problem lies within its wristband which is not secure at all.

Pros / What Customers Like:

  • Misfit Shine 2 is completely water-resistant for swimming and it's a great choice for dedicated swimmers.
  • The battery life is great and you only need to change the battery twice in a year.
  • It provides vibrations for your notifications such as calls and messages and it can even be used to set silent alarms.

Cons / What Customers Don't Like:

  • The major issue with this fitness tracker is the straps included with can detach easily and get lost.
  • The display lacks some functionality and it could use some improvement.

Verdict:

You are prompted with a couple of cool colors if you decide to purchase this fitness tracker. It does everything it's supposed to successfully. It is also waterproof and it works with your smartphone well in order to alert you for notifications and alarms. The band problem was a huge issue for initial customers since they struggled with keeping the band on their wrists most of the time. However, customers have reported that Misfit has successfully dealt with the issue and the new models pose no such issue. If that is correct, then this fitness tracker is a decent purchase for a more than decent price.
