Huawei Watch 2 Sport Review

This sports watch from Huawei is a successor to the popular Huawei Watch and we can’t wait to tell you all of the improvements. First of all, the watch is somewhat bigger than the original and feels just a bit heavier. It offers a lot of different sensors, including accelerometers, a GPS tracker, and a heart rate monitor. The watch comes with its own 4GB of storage where you can store a lot of music and listen to it without a phone. It also offers the user a chance to put a SIM card into it and make calls and send messages without ever needing a smartphone.

Pros / What Customers Like:

  • It should be stated that the battery can last for two days with 4G turned on and three days without it. There is a neat watch mode which turns off other functions and just lets your look at the time.
  • It does not undermine fitness tracking features as it measures the basics such as step and calorie counting, along with heart rate monitoring.
  • It's a great combination of a sports watch, smart watch, and a fitness tracker and it comes at a price lower than its competition.

Cons / What Customers Don't Like:

  • The watch feels somewhat bulky and heavy on the arm.
  • Customers have reported how the quality of the materials used is questionable.
  • It does not stand out from the competition.

Verdict:

The Huawei Watch 2 is definitely a great piece of tech but it does not actually bring anything new to the mix and it's not something we have never seen before. Everything looks and works like it's supposed to and the watch features everything it should. It works with Android Wear 2.0 and there are no software problems.
